Terms of Use

By using Voice Tasbih (the website and the app) you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

What the service is

Voice Tasbih is a free tool that plays tasbih audio with a counter, lets you keep groups, settings, reminders and personal statistics, and is offered as a convenience for personal remembrance (Tasbih). It is not a religious authority, and the texts, translations and counts shown are provided for convenience — please consult a qualified teacher for rulings or when in doubt.

Your account

• The app is for members of the community. To use it you confirm your membership with your name and membership (ITS) number. Giving false details, or using another person’s membership, may lead to your account being removed.
• You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that mailbox safe; whoever reads the code can sign in.
• Accounts are for users aged 13 and over.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time (how).
• Please give a real address of your own. Do not use the service to send codes to other people’s addresses.

Acceptable use

Don’t attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, don’t try to access other people’s data, and don’t use it to break the law. We may limit or suspend access that looks abusive.

Content

The audio, text and design belong to Voice Tasbih or its contributors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use inside the app and website. You may link to the site; please don’t copy the audio library.

Free service, no guarantees

The service is provided “as is”, free of charge, without promises of uninterrupted availability or that it is error-free. Counts shown by the player follow the audio you hear; do not rely on the app for anything where a miscount would cause harm. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Reminders depend on your device and its notification service and may be delayed or not delivered.

Changes and ending

We may change the service or these terms; when a change matters we will say so in the app. You can stop using the service at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice; you can then still delete your data.
