Questions
What is Voice Tasbih?
Voice Tasbih is a free app for the Dawoodi Bohra community that plays your tasbih aloud in Arabic and counts along live as you recite. It works on Android and iPhone, with no ads.
Is Voice Tasbih free?
Yes. Voice Tasbih is free, with no ads.
Who can use it?
Voice Tasbih is made for the Dawoodi Bohra community. You confirm your membership once, with your ITS card, when you sign up.
Does it play with the screen locked?
Yes. Start a tasbih and lock your phone — the audio and the lock-screen controls keep working.
Is my ITS card uploaded?
No. The card is read on your phone and the photo is never uploaded or saved. If you prefer, you can type your name and membership number instead.
What is “Hide Quran aayat (Uzur)”?
An optional setting for the days when a woman does not recite Quranic aayat. When it's on, the Quran surahs and aayat marked as not recited during Uzur are hidden everywhere in the app (including groups and Random), and reminders skip groups made up only of them. Your other tasbihs stay as they are. Turn it off any time in Settings, and everything comes back. The setting is private to your account.
Can I use it on more than one phone?
Yes. Sign in with the same email on each phone and your groups and settings are there. It works on Android and iOS.
