Delete your account
You can delete your account at any time, with or without the app. Deletion cannot be undone.
How to delete it
In the app (immediate)
- Open Settings and tap Delete account.
- Read the warning and tap Email me a confirmation code. We send a fresh 6-digit code to your address.
- Enter the code and confirm. Your account is erased straight away and you are signed out.
The code proves it is really you, so nobody else can delete your account from a phone you left signed in.
Without the app (by email)
Write to support@voicetasbih.com from the email address of your account, with the subject Delete my account. We delete the account within 7 days and send you a confirmation reply. Requests are handled by email only, so that we can check the address.
What is erased
Everything tied to the account, in one step:
- your email address and the account itself;
- your name and membership (ITS) number, which are erased with the account, so the number can be registered again;
- your groups, their planned times and completion marks, and everything in them;
- your Random exclusions, per-tasbih settings (speed, pause, personal counts) and your resume position;
- all your statistics, lifetime totals, streaks and history;
- your reminders and notification subscriptions on every device;
- all your sign-in sessions on every device, and any pending sign-in codes.
What remains
- A short internal log line that “an account was deleted” and the date — without your email or any other detail.
- Our daily database backups still contain the account until they age out, which takes about 8 weeks. They are used only to restore the service after a failure, and an old backup is never used to bring a deleted account back.
- Anonymous, combined totals (for example how many times a tasbih has been recited across all users) contain no personal data and cannot be linked back to you, so they are kept.
- Settings and unsent counts saved in your own browser or app storage stay on that device until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
